Branscombe Residency

I am the artist in residence at the City of Richmond’s Branscombe House Artist Residency Program 2026. During this time, I will continue exploring traditional Chinese woodblock printmaking and its contemporary praxis, while also developing a new series inspired by local themes and nature. EXHIBITIONS

Neighbourhood is my mid-term residency exhibition featuring twelve small landscape paintings that illustrate the views, neighbours, and environment of the Branscombe House area. It emphasizes the beauty of the ever-changing nature and the calm, welcoming local community. This exhibition also acts as a valuable record of life, providing inspiration and ideas for my future major projects. 

Neighbourhood (the residency mid-exhibition) will take place on Saturday, June 27, and Sunday, June 28, from 10:00am to 4:00pm at Branscombe House (4900 Steveston Hwy, Richmond BC). Additional viewing times during the week are available by appointment ( message me on my Contact page).
